FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of reforming and isomerising hydrocarbons and involves feeding a stream of reforming feed into a reforming zone containing a reforming catalyst, and operation of the reforming zone under reforming conditions, including a reforming pressure in range of 1 to 18 atmospheres, in order to obtain an outlet stream from the reforming zone. Outlet stream is separated from the reforming zone to produce a stream of gas containing mainly hydrogen and a stream of a liquid reforming product. Said gas stream is compressed to form a compressed gas stream and then said compressed gas stream and isomerisation feed stream are fed into isomerisation zone containing isomerisation catalyst. Output stream is separated from the isomerisation zone to obtain a stream of isomerisation gas and a stream of a liquid isomerisation product. Compressing first portion of isomerisation gas flow to form compressed total resultant gas and feeding at least part of compressed total resultant gas to hydrogen consuming process. Combining second portion of isomerisation gas stream with said gas stream, mainly containing hydrogen, wherein said compression stages of said gas stream and compression of first portion of isomerisation gas flow are carried out using a single power source for operation of independent compressors in order to compress each of said flows, wherein said first portion of isomerisation gas flow does not come into repeated contact with said outlet stream from reforming zone. Invention also relates to apparatus for hydrocarbon reforming and isomerisation.
EFFECT: reduced process stages and equipment units, high octane number of hydrocarbons.
