FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Method of cleaning freshwater ecosystems from oil and oil products is proposed. Method comprises contacting oil hydrocarbons to be decomposed with a biopreparation, consisting of a mixture of oil-oxidising Microbacterium species VKM Ac-2614D, Pseudomonas migulae BKM B-2761D, Rhodococcus erythropolis VKM Ac-2612D, Rhodococcus erythropolis VKM Ac-2611D strains, taken in ratio of 1:1: 1:1. Cell titre in the ready preparation is, at least, 1010 cells per 1 g.
EFFECT: method provides high rate of biodegradation of oil in aqueous media in temperature range from 0 to +25 °C, including ice conditions.
