SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Disclosed are versions a multimeric protein structure, which hydrolyses terminal α-galactosyl moiety of globotriaosylceramide and comprises two α-galactosidase monomers covalently bonded to each other through binding moiety, where multimeric protein structure is a dimeric protein structure. Disclosed are methods for preparing said versions of multimeric protein structures, involving reaction of α-galactosidase with a cross-linking agent. Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition containing said multimeric protein structure.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain multimeric protein structures with high stability and high activity in vivo compared to native form of α-galactosidase, which can be used in treating Fabry disease.
