SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compressor stations and test boxes noise suppression equipment for gas turbine engines. Silencer comprises base, into which enter ejector perpendicular to its axis, on base levelling grid is arranged connected to adapter, on which sound-absorbing unit is attached consisting of separate series-connected sections, each of which is made of sound-absorbing material layer lined from inside with perforated shell, wherein sections consist of subsections, in which single absorbers are accommodated, base is made cylindrical, each section consists of four subsections, and individual sound absorbers are made with spherical shape from perforated material hemispheres, into which sound-absorbing material is include, wherein silencer sound-absorbing unit sound absorbing element comprises smooth and perforated surfaces, between which multilayer sound absorbing structure is arranged, made in form of rigid and perforated walls, between which two layers are arranged: sound-reflecting layer, adjacent to rigid wall, and sound-absorbing layer, adjoining perforated wall, wherein sound reflecting material layer is made from complex profile composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, allowing to reflect sound waves incident in all directions, and sound-absorbing material used is mineral wool on basalt base of “Rockwool” type, or “URSA” type mineral wool.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise suppression.
