FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: suppressor is designed for noise suppression of the compressor stations and test boxes for the gas turbine engines. Suppressor comprises the cylindrical housing, which is rigidly connected with the end inlet and outlet pipes, which are rigidly connected to the central partitions that have the perforation, the base leveling grid is arranged, it is connected to the adapter, on which the sound-absorbing unit is fixed, the unit consists of separate consecutively connected sections, each of which is made with sound-absorbing lining, thickness "a", and the section consists of four subsections with the characteristic size "c", in which the single sound absorbers with the certain pitch "b" are situated, the single sound absorbers are made in the form of perforated sleeve and covers, which are filled with the sound absorber, the layer of acoustic transparent shell made of capronic mesh made of glass cloth is arranged outside of bushing, and the frame comprises covers with circular collars for cylindrical bushing fixing, where the covers are connected by the central rod to the hooks at both ends, and the cylindrical bushing consists of two perforated shells, outer and inner, the space between them is filled with the sound-absorbing element, which is made in the form of the rigid and perforated walls, between which the multi-layer sound-absorbing element is located, which is designed in the form of two layers: one of which being adjacent to the rigid wall, is sound-absorbing, and the other one being adjacent to the perforated wall, is made with the perforation made of the sound-reflecting material of complex profile, which consists of the uniformly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, while the material based on aluminum-containing alloys is used as the sound-reflecting material with their further filling with titanium hydride or air.

EFFECT: technical result is the increased efficiency of noise suppression.
