SUBSTANCE: electric power plant comprises first stationary plasma engine (111A) having first single cathode (140A), first anode (125A) and first gas collector (121A, 141A), as well as second stationary plasma engine (111B) containing second single cathode (140B), second anode (125B) and second gas collector (121B, 141B). Plant also includes an electric connecting device common for first and second cathodes (140A, 140B), first and second control devices (180A, 180B) to control the speed of gas supply with a common gas supply control device for implementation of gas supply and a device for selective control to activate in each given moment of time only one of cathodes (140A, 140B) - the first or the second one for interaction with one or the other anode (125A, 125B) - the first or the second one.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing reliability of electric propulsion systems.
