FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to special metallurgy and can be used in electroslag remelting of used products from various metals and alloys into ingots. As slag forming mixture flux contains cement, lime and fireclay brick scrap, and as thinner is glass scrap in following components ratio, wt%: cement 9.7-10.5, lime 29.8-30.2, fireclay brick scrap 29.8-30.1, glass scrap 29.7-30.2.
EFFECT: invention provides production of inexpensive environmentally safe flux with high operating properties, since its composition consists of industrial wastes and inexpensive widely available industrial products.
