FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluids, solutions spraying devices, and can be used in various engineering fields. Swirl atomizer comprises housing and nozzle. Housing is made in form of feed union with central bore and rigidly jointed and coaxial therewith cylindrical sleeve with inner thread and coaxial to housing expansion chamber. Coaxial to housing in its lower part nozzle is connected to sleeve by thread, made in form of inverted barrel. A fluid flow swirler is made in the barrel bottom and is fitted by at least two cylindrical inlets inclined to the nozzle axis and made in the nozzle end surface. Central cylindrical orifice is also made in nozzle end surface and connected with nozzle mixing chamber successively communicated with outlet diffuser chamber. In outlet diffuser chamber splitter is arranged made in form of, at least, three spokes. Each of three spokes is secured by one end to outlet diffuser chamber outer surface perpendicular to its surface generatrices, and by another is in body of revolution surface. Body of revolution axis coincides with outlet diffuser chamber axis. Body of revolution itself is located in lower part behind outlet diffuser chamber slice and made in form of sphere or ellipsoid. Ellipsoid minor axis is axisymmetric to outlet diffuser chamber axis. To cylindrical sleeve end surface, coaxial with housing, coaxially to outlet diffuser chamber diffuser is attached, which slice surface lies in plane located below splitter body of revolution surface.
EFFECT: increasing spraying efficiency due to spray cone increasing.
