FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coatings deposited on products for internal construction works, such as ceiling tiles, herewith the said coatings contain an entrap for aldehydes capable to bind any aldehydes, including formaldehyde, and/or other volatile organic compounds, which can often be extracted from the primary products for internal construction works and/or from coatings. Coating contains melamine formaldehyde resin and an entrap for aldehydes selected from a group consisting of tetraethylenepentamine, propionamide, caprolactam, ammonium hydroxide, sodium bisulphate, sodium metabisulphite, ammonium dihydrophosphate, ammonium hydrophosphate, a combination of ammonium dihydrophosphate and ammonium hydrophosphate, a combination of ammonium dihydrophosphate, ammonium hydrophosphate and sulphite, polyvinyl alcohol, dihydrazide of adipic acid and a combination of polyvinyl alcohol and dihydrazide of adipic acid.
EFFECT: technical result is increased strength of the product and reduced extraction of aldehydes and other volatile organic compounds.
