FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combine harvester with grain hopper, equipped with upper hole, and with folding capping, installed on upper hole. Capping consists of two opposed solid flat elements and two opposed composite flat elements. Capping elements are installed on upper edge of grain hopper upper hole with possibility of rotation and are connected to each other with possibility of rotation. Capping elements, being in closed horizontal state, form cover, at least, partially covering hole, and being in vertical loading state, increase volume of grain hopper. Additional folding level on one of composite capping elements separates processes of movement of composite capping elements in changing from locking state into loading state and vice versa from processes of movement of solid capping elements so that composite capping elements in their locking state partially superimposed each other.
EFFECT: use of this invention allows increasing hopper volume.
