FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: locking device (1) for removably connecting two parts to each other comprises a locking element (2) having the first rigid locking protrusion and the second locking element (3) which can be attached to the first locking element (2) and is held in the locked position on the first locking element (2). The second locking element (3) has the second rigid locking protrusion, wherein the second locking protrusion is engageable with the first locking protrusion in the engagement direction and is engaged in the locked position with the first locking protrusion by forced locking. The first locking element (2) comprises the first magnetic element, and the second locking element (3) comprises the second magnetic element, wherein the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element are adapted to attract each other by a magnetic field when the second locking element (3) is attached to the first locking element (2) for closing the locking device (1). In addition, a force application element is hingedly attached to the second locking element (3) at a force application location near the second locking protrusion, wherein the force application element is adapted to apply force to the second locking element (3). The first locking element (2) comprises a base (20) and a blocking element (21) rigidly attached to the base (20) and carrying the first locking protrusion. The second locking element (3) comprises a blocking portion carrying the second locking protrusion and having a front surface which faces the blocking element (21) of the first locking element (2) in the locked position. In the locked position, when viewed in the direction opposite to the engagement direction, the force application location on the second locking element (3) is between the front surface and the center of the first magnetic element (23) of the first locking element (2).

EFFECT: reliability of the locking device at high loads and ease of use.
