FIELD: perfume industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to perfume industry. Perfume composition consists of: a) a fragrance component, in an amount of 3 to 40 wt% of weight of composition, at least 40 wt% of total weight of said fragrance component being formed of perfuming ingredients having a calculated vapour pressure V in range 0.01≤V≤500 Pa; b) from 40 to 90 wt%, relative to total weight of composition, of ethanol; c) from 0.01 to 20 wt%, relative to total weight of composition, of a fragrance modulator formed of neopentyl glycol diethylhexanoate, provided that said fragrance modulator aroma contains less than 50 wt% isocetyl alcohol, and d) optionally water; and wherein sum of weights of ingredients a) to d) in composition adds up to at least 98 % of weight of composition. According to a second version, perfume composition consists of: a) a fragrance component, in an amount of 3 to 40 wt% of weight of composition, at least 40 wt% of total weight of said fragrance component being formed of perfuming ingredients having a calculated vapour pressure V in range 0.01≤V≤500 Pa; b) from 40 to 90 wt%, relative to total weight of composition, ethanol; c) from 0.01 to 20 wt%, relative to total weight of composition, fragrance modulator, containing neopentyl glycol diethylhexanoate, provided that said fragrance modulator does not contain isocetyl alcohol, and d) optionally, water; and where sum of weights of ingredients a) to d) in composition is at least 98 % of weight of composition.

EFFECT: invention prolongs release of fragrance into environment when applied on body surface.
