SUBSTANCE: invention relates to user interfaces. System includes a contactless user-interface for control of system through pre-determined gestures of a bodily part of user. User-interface has a camera and a data processing system. Camera captures video data, representative of bodily part and of an environment of bodily part. Video data processing system determines a current spatial relationship between bodily part and another bodily part of user, wherein if spatial relationship matches a pre-determined spatial relationship representative of pre-determined gesture, data processing system sets system into a pre-determined state.
EFFECT: technical result is providing a coordinate system, which enables a user to set specific one of multiple system states without need to take into account feedback from system during control.
