FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to vertical take-off and landing aircraft. Vertical take-off and landing aircraft comprises a fuselage, a lift-cruise engine and its thrust vector changing mechanism. Fuselage is composed as a disc-shape flying wing, and the lift-cruise engine is mounted at the angle of 30-60° to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft with the possibility of suction of the air flow from the wing upper surface and ejection of the air flow from the lift-cruise engine to the lower part of the wing. Thrust vector changing mechanism is made in the form of a set of rotary guide blades installed in the lower part of the wing in the air flow from the lift-cruise engine with the possibility of changing the thrust vector from 0° to 105° to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. Wing features a longitudinal self-balancing S-shaped profile.
EFFECT: provided is a simplified design of the aircraft power plant.
