SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of reducing content of organic chlorides in oil. Method includes preliminary dehydration and degassing of oil, heating oil with extraction of organic chlorides, discharge of purified oil. Preliminary dehydration is performed to oil water content of not more than 1 %, heating is carried out to temperature, which enables to distill a fraction from oil in a rectification column, said fraction containing organic chlorides and boiling at atmospheric pressure in temperature range from initial boiling point to 204 °C, and part of distilled fraction - reflux is used for irrigation of rectification column, volume of reflux is defined empirically depending on structural features of said column and oil volume, fed for distillation.
EFFECT: proposed method enables to obtain purified oil with content of organic chlorides of less than 10 ppm.
