FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing biodegradable scale inhibitors and can be used for preventing deposits of salts in water circulation systems. Method for production of scale inhibitor by radical copolymerisation of acrylic acid and monoether of carboxylic acid in an aqueous medium while heating in presence of an initiator, method is characterised by that monoether of carboxylic acid used is 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethylmonofumarate, and copolymerisation of acrylic acid with 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethylmonofumarate takes place in molar ratio of 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethylmonofumarate to acrylic acid, ranging from 1.7 to 2.5 in aqueous solutions with weight ratio of monomers from 15 to 50 %. Disclosed is a version of method.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of inhibitor by preventing process of sedimentation of partially soluble salts of alkali-earth metals, inhibitor has high biodegradability.
