FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolytic cell, comprising housing, in which installed titanium cathode, made of several perforated plates, together making annular cylinder with vertical openings between adjacent plates, insoluble anode in form of bent plates, together making annular cylinder, arranged coaxially relative to titanium cathode, as well as porous ceramic cylindrical diaphragm from corundum or stabilized zirconium dioxide with diameter of 350-500 mm, separating cathode and anode spaces.
EFFECT: disclosed technical solution is aimed at simplification of electrolytic cell design and its components making processes, higher reliability during electrolysis in extreme conditions and higher efficiency of single unit.
