SUBSTANCE: invention is related to processes of electrochemical preparation of different chemical products by electrolysis of electrolytes solutions of different concentration. Cylindrical electrochemical cell for processing of solutions comprises internal hollow tubular anode, external cylindrical cathode, permeable tubular ceramic diaphragm installed between them that separates Interelectrode space into anode and cathode chambers, units for installation, fastening and tightening of electrodes and diaphragms installed at the end parts of cell, and accessories for supply and drain of processed solutions to and from electrode chambers. Cathode, anode and diaphragm are installed in units and are connected to accessories for supply and drain of solution with creation of cell working part, along the whole length of which constancy of hydrodynamic characteristics of electrode chambers and characteristics of electrical field is preserved. Cathode and anode are made of titanium tubes, at that ratio of cathode chamber cross section to sum of areas of anode chamber and diaphragm cross sections makes 0.9-1.0, and length of cell working part makes 15-25 external diameters of anode.
EFFECT: intensification of electrolysis processes.
