FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and apparatus for wireless control of medical devices using a remote control panel. Method comprises inputting, through a first input unit, provided by touch screen (24) of remote control panel (10, 60, 70, 80), control information activate and/or deactivate device (30) control functions. Permitting information is being input through independent from first input unit (24), second input unit (14, 18, 62, 72, 82) of remote control panel (10, 60, 70, 80). While inputting control information medical device (30) control function is being activated and/or deactivated, only if permitting information is input through second unit (14, 18, 62, 72, 82), and if one of both conditions is observed: a) if control information and permitting information are transmitted within a given time interval or simultaneously from remote control panel (10, 60, 70, 80) to device (30), or b) if data with control information is sent from first control unit (50) of first input unit (24) to second control unit (50) of second input unit (14, 18, 62, 72, 82) and if control information is sent from second control unit (50) to device (30) only when permitting information is determined by second control unit (50) simultaneously or within a given time interval.

EFFECT: technical result is elimination of erroneous inputs of control information in a medical device.
