SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to a mobile rectal irrigation system, and use of an irrigation system. System comprises a reservoir for an irrigating liquid. System includes a probe for arrangement in a user, an electrical system. Electrical system comprises an electrical pump for indirectly pumping irrigation liquid from the reservoir to the probe. Pump is designed to pump air into the reservoir to create pressure in the reservoir to displace the irrigation liquid therefrom and feed it into the probe. Electrical system includes a battery for driving said electrical pump. Electrical system includes a control switch for activation of the electrical pump, and wiring connecting said parts to each other. System comprises a control unit for controlling the transfer of said irrigation liquid. System includes tubing providing fluid communication between said reservoir, control unit and probe. Control unit is located at a distance from both the reservoir and the probe and is connected to the reservoir and the probe by means of tubing. Probe also includes an inflatable locking element, wherein said control unit comprises a waterproof housing enclosing the battery and the electrical pump. Electrical system is galvanically isolated from the exterior of the irrigation system. Battery is designed for inductive charging.
