SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, in particular, to winter tire. Tread 2 of pneumatic tire is divided by central longitudinal grooves and shoulder longitudinal grooves onto central portion 6, outer middle portion 7A, inner middle portion 7B, outer shoulder portion 8A and inner shoulder land portion 8B. Outer shoulder portion 8A includes a number of external shoulder blocks 22 separated by outer shoulder longitudinal grooves 5A. Inner shoulder portion 8B includes inner shoulder longitudinal grooves 26 containing inner end 26i and outer end 26o within portion 8B, and inner shoulder auxiliary grooves 28 located between inner shoulder longitudinal grooves 26, 26, adjacent in longitudinal direction, and containing inner end 28i and outer end 28o within portion 8B. Inner mid portion 7B includes inner middle additional groove 18 extending continuously in longitudinal direction, and the inner middle connecting bars 21.
EFFECT: improved drainage characteristics of tire, as well as running characteristics on snowy and icy road while maintaining stable steering on dry road surface.
