SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an industrial automation system. For this purpose automation system functions are provided by means of Web-applications, which are combined in interconnected Web-applications at the client side during the control program executing and are provided on the user interface of client side. Web-applications are provided by means of a single application programming interface, that includes application programming interface for initialization and unloading applications components, extending into components, as well as application programming interface for processing events and providing the functions of components. Instances of components are linked to establish interactions between components of applications by means of the application programming interface.

EFFECT: technical result is flexible and efficient provision of functions distributed along multiple control units or computing units in the industrial automation system.
