SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic instrument making and is intended for monitoring and controlling thermal imaging channels (TIC). Proposed is a device for monitoring and controlling TIC having a device for displaying, recording and processing information, which includes a personal computer and a video signals formats converter, the input of which is a video input of the device and the output is connected to the first port of the personal computer, an exchange standards converter, the first input/output port of which is the device input/output port and the second input/output port is connected to the second input/output port of the personal computer, a control commands former, the input of which is connected to the third port of the personal computer and the output is the control output of the device, a working voltages generator, which outputs are outputs of working voltages of the device, herewith the personal computer is equipped with the fourth input/output port.

EFFECT: technical result is broader functional capabilities of the device owing to verification of TIC not having manual control elements and automation of measurement of main TIC quality characteristics at higher accuracy of the measurement results.
