SUBSTANCE: thermal imaging channel includes a lens, in the focal plane of which there is a matrix photodetector which is connected by outputs to the inputs of a multichannel preamplifier, an analogue-to-digital converter, a multiplexer, a control unit, the output of which is connected to the control input of the photodetector, a video processor connected by the output to the input of the control unit and the control input of the multiplexer, a video signal output unit, the output of which is the output of the thermal imaging channel; the thermal imaging channel additionally includes a hardware signal processing unit connected between the output of the multiplexer and the input of the video signal output unit and connected by the data input/output port to the corresponding video processor port, and by the control input to the control output of the video processor, wherein the hardware signal processing unit is configured to simultaneously perform at least two different computational operations for digital data processing.
EFFECT: faster processing of digital video without considerable increase in power consumption and complication of the design of the device, shorter video signal transmission delay.
