FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition for smooth-bore weapon and can be used in bloodless hunting on large birds and small animals, when performing police operations, as well as in traumatic weapons of close, middle and far, up to 100 meters and more action. Bullet consists of hollow semi-sphere, made of soft metal, guide bushing from polymer material, diameter of which is more than double radius of the hemisphere and more than gun’s barrel channel diameter. Inside of hemisphere and sleeve insert is installed rigidly connected with internal part of hemisphere. Inner diameter of bushing is larger than outer diameter of insert, which has cylindrical projections in tail part. Bushing can have cylindrical grooves or projections in the form of multiple thread on external surface, it can be made in the form of several segments. Hemisphere can have projection-weighting additive inside in the center, and outside-releasing radial grooves or open-type radial channels. Insert can have longitudinal holes, including partially filled with paint, and longitudinal separation plates. Bullet is installed in loaded cartridge and at firing passes through the barrel bore. At exit from barrel wads and packings are separated from bullet, and then by opposite air flow bushing is removed. At impact on target-obstacle hemisphere flattened and breaks the insert, parts of which are turned over and hit the target-obstacle. In the presence of paint in insert it is spread on the target.

EFFECT: invention allows enlarging the scope of application of composite bullet, enabling reduction of its penetration.
