FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hollow cylinders processing. Drilling hole with spiral drill. Performing hole mandreling according to compression pattern with tension equal to not less than 5 % of its diameter, by means of single mandrels with increasing diameter successive pushing. Removing metal beads at cylinders ends and performing their axial plastic compression with deformation degrees of 0.5…1.5 %. Performing additional mandreling of hole according to compression pattern with tension, equal to 1 % of its diameter by one tooth mandrel pushing.
EFFECT: result is reduction of residual stresses in hollow cylinders.
