FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to surface straining of inner profiled surfaces. Proposed device comprises mandrel with rigid forming element and elastic forming element, hydraulic cylinder and damper. Hydraulic cylinder comprises rod that makes a waveguide covered by sleeve that double as striker. Said mandrel is arranged at hydraulic cylinder rod. Said damper if arranged at hydraulic cylinder rod and comprises cylinder with viscous medium, hollow rod and hollow piston. Hollow piston can displace in cylinder. Elastic forming element is arranged at hydraulic cylinder rod ahead of rigid forming element. Said elastic forming element represents helical taper spring made from wire with outer working surface composed of two truncated cones facing each other by their larger bases. Turns of larger bases of helical spring feature OD equal to biller bore diameter. Damper hollow rod stays in contact with elastic forming element. Epilam layer is applied on working surface of forming elements.
EFFECT: expanded machining performances, increased depth of hardened layer and decreased roughness.
