FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for calibrating holes by surface plastic deformation with application of ultrasonic vibrations on a part. Device comprises technological and acoustic units. Technological unit includes a power rod with a mandrel, a working table for installation of a part on it. Working table is made with a hole larger than the mandrel diameter. Acoustic unit includes a magnetostrictive transducer which converts electrical vibrations into mechanical movements by means of a concentrator installed perpendicular to the axis of the part into a device fixed on a bracket rigidly connected to the bed of the working table. In the acoustic unit there is an ultrasonic generator for converting electric current of industrial frequency into electric oscillations and an acoustic feedback sensor connected to an automatic frequency control device.
EFFECT: as a result, the quality of the processed surface is improved.
