METHOD OF FACTOR ANALYSIS OF ACCOUNTING TREE LEAVES ONTOGENESIS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01D21/00 

FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of examining woody plants. Substrate with a white surface is laid underneath on the measured leaf, and atop – a transparent palette for cartographic measurements. Herewith the longitudinal axis of the plant leaf is matched with one of the palette mesh lines. Then the leaf is photographed through the transparent palette with the mesh and the image is placed into a computer memory. Herewith photographing each accounting leaf is performed at least seven times for the vegetation period in approximately the same daytime. Then the leaf parameters are measured by the palette mesh on the leaf magnified image. Herewith measurements of the accounting leaves parameters are performed during the vegetation period. Of all measurements during the vegetation period the maximum values of the accounting leaves parameters are selected. Vegetation period and the maximum values of the accounting leaves parameters in the form of maximum length, maximum width, maximum perimeter and maximum square are accepted as mutually dependent factors. As per the said factors a table of initial data is built for statistical modelling. Herewith in columns indicated are factors and in rows – accounting leaves numbers. As per the built table of initial data a factor analysis is performed.
