SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to thermodynamic investigations of oil deposits on basis of measuring thermodynamic properties of reservoir fluids. Disclosed is a method of measuring thermodynamic properties of reservoir fluids, including: assembling a modular sensor unit for evaluation of fluid sample containing hydrocarbon, wherein modular sensor side comprises an autoclave housing with a sampling chamber; loading sample into sampling chamber; controlling temperature and pressure in sampling chamber, wherein sample temperature is controlled by a temperature control system surrounding autoclave housing; and using a single sensor to determine both density and viscosity of sample in sampling chamber. Also described is a device for measuring thermodynamic properties of reservoir fluids.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of analysis.
