FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, namely to towing devices. Towing device comprises towing rope or belt with hooks on ends, two hollow cylinders, having hooks and rings for connection with vehicles lugs. Cylinders have moving rods with installed on them cylindrical compression springs in amount of one and more springs on each rod. Every next spring has stiffness, higher than previous, which during vehicle towing leads to towing device cylinders springs serial compression. At jerking alternate compression of springs provides smooth acceleration of towed vehicle and its smooth towing during movement.
EFFECT: higher device operating performances and its service life by reducing dynamic loads at vehicle breakaway and during its movement.
