FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling automobile tires. Proposed device comprises support arranged to receive tire resting thereon; deforming system, configured to form an elastically deformed portion of the inner surface and an elastically deformed portion of the outer surface on the tire by physical contact; first light source, configured to emit a first light radiation to illuminate a deformed portion of the outer surface by scattered light radiation, and a first camera, configured to detect a first image of the illuminated deformed portion of the outer surface and to generate at least one control signal, characterizing first recorded image; a second light source configured to emit a second light radiation for illuminating the deformed portion of the inner surface by light radiation, falling at a sliding angle, and a second chamber configured to detect at least one second image of the illuminated deformed portion of the inner surface and with possibility of generating at least one control signal characterizing said at least one second recorded image; element for movement, made with possibility to provide relative turn of support relative to first light source, second light source and deforming system around tire rotation axis, and a processor unit configured such that the deforming system functions and the movement providing element communicates the relative turn during illumination of the deformed section of the outer surface and the deformed section of the inner surface by means of the first light source and the second light source.
EFFECT: technical result is improved quality of tire control.
