FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to mining shovels. Specifically, present invention relates to mechanisms for adjustment of angle of inclination of dipper. Mining shovel adapted to dig a bank of material, mining shovel comprising a boom including an end, a hoist rope extending over end of boom, an elongated member articulated with boom, a dipper for engaging bank of material, a bail assembly and a pitch brace. Element contains first end and second end. Dipper is connected to second end of element and comprises a cutting edge. Bail assembly comprises a first end articulated with dipper, and a second end connected with hoist rope passing through boom. Pitch brace comprises a first end pivotally connected to bail assembly, and a second end pivotally connected with element.
EFFECT: invention solves task of increasing efficiency of shovel, and improving quality of operation of dipper in various conditions.
