FIELD: energetics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. Method of gas turbine engine operation for lowering of ammonia slip includes engine’s operation in the range of output power levels; control of mass flow of nitrogen oxides (NOx) produced in the exhaust gas of engine, to be within 10 % in the range of output power levels; and processing of exhaust gas of engine by selective catalytic reduction by way, that generation of NOx and corresponding flow of reducing agent used in process of selective catalytic reduction remain relatively constant in terms of mass (molar) flow in the range of output power levels and adjusting of ammonia slip takes place.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce ammonia slip.
