SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to X-ray diagnostics, and can be used for prediction of annual antiosteoporotic efficiency of menopausal hormonal therapy (MHT). Carry out determination of MPK level of trabecular bone tissue of the second to fourth lumbar vertebrae. Additionally, determined index of bilateral asymmetry of trabecular bone density of the second to fourth lumbar vertebra, osteocalcin level in blood serum and duration of postmenopausal period. Calculated forecast of efficiency of hormonal therapy purpose (Y) to its purpose by formula. If Y value exceeds or equals 2, predicted a positive effect of MGT for one year and probable increase of bone mass. If Y value from -2 to 2, made conclusion about supporting effect of MGT and stable course of osteoporosis, that makes it possible to treat result of MGT as satisfactory. Absence of effect of the expected purpose therapy is determined if Y value less than -2, that characterizes likely significant bone loss, despite using MGT for one year.

EFFECT: method allows to increase reliable of prediction ensured by assessing the most significant parameters.
