SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and methods of connecting shafts of an electric centrifugal submersible pump. Device comprises coupling (102), a hollow tubular union of coupling (102) to accommodate the ends of each of two rotating shafts (106, 106'), at least one collet (104) for attachment of coupling (102) to at least one of two shafts (106, 106'). At least on one end of at least one collet (104) there are sliding petals (108, 108') to apply radial force to the outer diameter of at least one of two shafts (106, 106'). On petals (108, 108') there are collars (110, 110') to be fixed in at least one slot (112, 112') on at least one of two shafts (106, 106'). On at least one slot (112, 112') there are chamfers to transmit and take up forces of axial load between two shafts (106, 106') by means of collars (110, 110'), sliding petals (108, 108') and at least one collet (104).

EFFECT: inventions are aimed at simplification of the process of connection-disconnection of the pump sections and reducing the working time.
