FIELD: fastening elements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for connecting a valve rod to an actuating mechanism. The device for connecting the valve rod to a rod of the actuating mechanism contains a valve rod connector containing the first part and the second part, a hinge connecting with the possibility of rotation the specified first and second parts between an open position and a closed position, a cavity formed by the first and the second parts, when the valve rod connector is in the closed position, having a shape for receiving the end of the rod of the actuating mechanism and an adapter with the end of the valve rod located in it. A fastening element is functionally connected to the specified first part, fixing the specified first and second parts in the closed position.
EFFECT: invention provides quick connection and disconnection without additional tools, which significantly reduces worktime losses, when operating the valve.
