FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fodder production. Fodder for animals is selected from group, consisting of silage, granulated fodder and crowdy. Said animal fodder is supplemented with a composition, containing xylanase. Said xylanase is hyperthermophilic and hyperthermostable. Said composition xylan-lytic activity optimum temperature is more than 80 °C, where more than 70 % of said composition xylan-lytic activity is resistant to 30 minutes of heating at 90 °C. Ratio of said composition xylan-lytic activity at optimum temperature and at 40 °C is more than 10. Method of animals fodder production involves stages of fodder selecting containing hemicellulose; and addition of composition containing hyperthermophilic and hyperthermostable xylanase.
EFFECT: use of hyperthermophilic and hyperthermostable xylanase for improving weight gain and/or feed conversion ratio in animal.
