FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to feed additives. The feed additive composition essentially consists of a microbial preparation for ingestion containing Bacillus subtilis 3BP5 (NRRL B-50510), 918 (NRRL B-50508) and 1013 (NRRL B-50509) strains in combination with at least one protease, which is a subtilisin, where the feed additive composition does not contain any additional enzymes other than the protease, which is a subtilisin. The feed additive composition is used in a method for improving the digestibility of raw materials in feed.
EFFECT: proposed feed additive composition allows for an increase in animal weight, immune stimulation of the gastrointestinal tract, a reduction in the population of pathogens in the gastrointestinal tract, as well as a reduction in the release of nutrients in manure and reduction in the formation of ammonia in manure.
