DEVICE FOR DIAGNOSING AND MONITORING STATE OF MECHANISMS AND SYSTEMS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01M17/00

Abstract RU 2608202 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device for diagnosing and monitoring the state of mechanisms and other systems relates to non-contact diagnosis of technical systems and can be used for inspection and diagnosis of defects in engines and transmissions of cars, as well as any other technical systems. Proposed diagnostics device measures noise signals from an object in controlled discrete moments of time using discrete Fourier transform. Derived vectors of signals harmonics amplitudes are compared with basic vectors of amplitudes characterizing the state of the measured object, and on the basis of the comparison the object states are determined with the required reliability of assessment or a new state is entered into the database. Also the device performs fixation of an engine state dynamics and statistical processing of the data, by means of which can be performed prediction of the object state (basing on analysis of time series) and correction of the basic data. To increase the quality of inspection the device fixes (normalizes) the noise level signal, as well as measures the noise level and frequency of the first harmonic of the noise signal.

EFFECT: as the result obtained is a simple to manufacture and operation device allowing to quickly and uniquely determine the state of an investigated system and independently record and characterize new unknown states of the system.
