SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic cigarette or cigar. Electronic smoking article includes an outer tube extending in a longitudinal direction; an inner tube within outer tube and including a pair of opposing slots; liquid supply comprising a liquid material and located in outer annular space between outer and inner tubes; a coil heater is located in inner tube so that coil heater extends through opposite recesses of inner tube, wherein coil is made from an iron-free alloy, and its turns are located at equal distance from each other, when coil is in an unbowed state; wick surrounded by coil heater coil, connected with liquid supply and configured to supply liquid to coil heater, coil heater heats liquid material to a temperature sufficient to vaporise liquid material and form an vapour in inner tube; mouthpiece at end of outer tube inserted into mouth.
EFFECT: avoiding formation of hot spots and very high temperature during drawing.
