SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electronic article for generating vapour, which comprises a liquid source region for storing a liquid material; a single-piece heater-wick element formed of porous carbon communicating with the liquid source region and including a heated portion and at least one suction portion, wherein the single-piece heater-wick element is configured to move the liquid material from the liquid source region through at least one suction portion to the heated portion by means of pores in the porous carbon; at least one suction portion enters the liquid source region; porous carbon has an impurity content of less than 0.01% and has a heat capacity in the range of 0.5 to 1 J/(g·K).
EFFECT: technical result is providing aerosol for the end user.
