FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process cartridge, in which there is an electrophotographic photosensitive drum and a developing roller which acts on the electrophotographic photosensitive drum, configured to communicate with each other and move from each other, and to an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, in which said process cartridge is installed with possibility of retrieval. Disclosed group of inventions comprises image forming apparatus and process cartridges. Process cartridge comprises a light-sensitive drum, a developing roller configured to contact with light-sensitive drum for developing an electrostatic latent image, formed on light-sensitive drum, a frame supporting light-sensitive drum and developing roller, a movable element, having a retraction force-receiving portion configured to receive a retraction force for retracting developing roller from light-sensitive drum, wherein movable element is movable relative to frame so that retraction force-receiving portion can move between first and second positions, retracted from first position in direction towards inner part of frame, and pushing element configured to push movable element so that retraction force-receiving portion is in first position.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of a smaller process cartridge, wherein electrophotographic photosensitive drum and developing roller can contact each other and retract from each other, and a smaller image forming apparatus, in which process cartridge can be installed with possibility of retrieval, as well as in development of a process cartridge, wherein electrophotographic photosensitive drum and developing roller can contact each other and retract from each other, wherein during manipulations with process cartridge or when transporting process cartridge force-receiving portion is not damaged.
