PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G03G21/18

Abstract RU 2738318 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process cartridge, in which there is an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum and a developing roller acting on the electrophotographic photosensitive drum, made with possibility of connection to each other and departure from each other, and to an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, in which said process cartridge is installed with possibility of retrieval. Disclosed group of inventions includes versions of cartridges, wherein cartridge comprises frame, developing roller, supported with possibility of rotation by said frame, connecting element provided on one longitudinal end of said frame and configured to receive driving force, gear provided on said one longitudinal end and configured to receive driving force from said connecting element, closing member, provided on said one longitudinal end and configured to close said gear, movable member provided on said one longitudinal end and movable with respect to said frame, and an ejecting member pushing said movable member, wherein said movable member includes a protruding portion configured to protrude on the limits of said closure member, and said movable member is movable between a first position in which said protruding portion extends beyond said closure member, and a second position, in which said protruding portion is closer to said frame than in first position, wherein said movable member is configured to move from first position to second position by pushing force of said ejection member, and wherein, when said movable element is in a first position, said movable member is rotatable about an axis parallel to the longitudinal direction of said frame.

EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of reduced process cartridge, in which electrophotographic photosensitive drum and developing roller are made with possibility of contact with each other and removal from each other, and a smaller image forming apparatus, in which process cartridge can be installed with possibility of retrieval, as well as in creation of process cartridge, in which electrophotographic photosensitive drum and developing roller are made with possibility of contact with each other and departure from each other, wherein during manipulations with process cartridge or when transporting process cartridge force-receiving portion is not damaged.
