FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process cartridge, in which there is an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum and a developing roller acting on the electrophotographic photosensitive drum, made with possibility of connection to each other and departure from each other, and to an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, into which such a process cartridge is removable. Disclosed group of inventions includes a process cartridge and an electrophotographic image forming device for forming an image on a recording material. Process cartridge comprises: a light-sensitive drum configured to carry an electrostatic latent image, a developing roller configured to develop an electrostatic latent image, a drum frame for supporting the photosensitive drum, a developing frame for supporting the developing roller, wherein the developing frame is supported by the drum frame with possibility of rotation about the rotation axis, and wherein the developing frame is movable relative to the drum frame between a contact position in which the developing roller is in contact with the photosensitive drum and spaced apart position, in which the developing roller is located at a distance from the photosensitive drum, movable element having an end, wherein the movable member is movable between a first position and a second position, wherein said end is closer to the rotation axis when the movable member is in a first position than when the movable member is in a second position, elastic element for pushing movable element from first position to second position, wherein elastic element is made with possibility of elastic deformation, when movable element is in first position.

EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of reduced process cartridge, in which electrophotographic photosensitive drum and developing roller are made with possibility of contact with each other and removal from each other, and reduced image forming device, into which such process cartridge can be installed with possibility of extraction, as well as in creation of process cartridge, in which electrophotographic photosensitive drum and developing roller are made with possibility of contact with each other and departure from each other, wherein during manipulations with process cartridge or when transporting process cartridge force-receiving portion is not damaged.
