FIELD: measuring equipment; construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, particularly to methods of testing superstructures, and can be used during testing road and municipal bridges. Method involves creation of disturbing dynamic forces in the form of periodically repeating pulses applied to a superstructure (SS). For generation of pulses with the frequency of free vibrations (of the SS) a car is passed through the SS, herewith previously thresholds are laid across the passage, and distance between them is selected basing on free vibrations of the SS and the car speed. Car when moving over the SS makes jumps from thresholds affecting the SS by all wheels and thus creating disturbing dynamic forces in the form of pulses. Weight of the car is selected possibly greater, while the number of thresholds, if necessary, is increased until reaching an oscillation amplitude value sufficient for accurate measurement of the SS vibration decrement.
EFFECT: proposed is a method of testing superstructures.
