FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: two-component solid seal for stationary applications of downhole tools is proposed. A group of inventions relates to a method for installation of a seal in an annular space of a wellbore, a sealing node for a downhole tool, a downhole tool for sealing an annular space in a wellbore. The method for installation of the seal includes application of an external force to the sealing node for elastic deformation of the sealing node and for bringing it into a compressed state. The sealing node includes an annular casing with elastomeric curing substance and an elastomeric compound in it, separated from each other until the application of the external force. The method also includes the use of an external compressing force applied to the sealing node for provision of a reaction of elastomeric curing substance with the elastomeric compound inside the annular casing of the sealing node. The method also includes retention of the sealing node in an elastically deformed form until curing of the elastomeric compound in the form of the compressed sealing node.

EFFECT: increase in the integrity of an elastomeric element during curing, as well as simplification of launch of a sealing node due to the application of a less installation force.
