FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed drilling string includes a housing assembled with an open outer surface, which includes drill pipes or flexible tubing, which are connected to the drilling string bottom. With that, the drilling string includes a coating with ultra-low friction at least on some part of open outer surface of the assembled housing, where friction coefficient of the coating with ultra-low friction is equal to or lower than 0.15. Besides, the above coating with ultra-low friction has been chosen from amorphous alloy WS2, composite material based on fullerene, ceramic metal on a boride basis, quasi-crystalline material, diamond-based material, diamond-like carbon (DLC), boron nitride and their combinations.

EFFECT: improving wear resistance of a drilling string during a drilling process.
