FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for controlling a touch screen. Method comprises acquiring actual capacitance values of test points on a touchscreen, determining interference level of electrically conducting liquid according to variation of actual capacitance values relative to a reference capacitance value, wherein reference capacitance value refers to capacitance value, when a test point is not affected by a conducting medium, and controlling touchscreen to be in an operation mode corresponding to interference level.
EFFECT: technical result is improving accuracy of detecting input at capacitive touchscreen.
