FIELD: physics; technology of manufacturing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and thermal analysis and measurements. In a sealed connector comprising a cylindrical housing a clamping ledge and an installed inside the housing sealing element in the form of a truncated cone from an electrically insulating material with channels for cables or tubes a hole in the housing for installation of the sealing element is tapered with a diameter of the minimum cross section with a smaller than the diameter of the minimum cross section of the sealing element, and a taper angle of the sealing element and the conical hole in the housing of less than 45°, herewith in the housing and the sealing element the form of channels is made corresponding to that of tubes or cables, and the cavity between the smaller base of the sealing element and the housing is interconnected with the atmosphere.
EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability and reduced dimensions, simplified assembling and repair, providing electrical insulation of tubes or cables in the sealed connector assembly, increased number of simultaneously sealed tubes or cables.
